It was the banana gram heard ‘round the world.

In case you’ve been living under a rock… At Miami’s Art Basel, Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan displayed a banana duct-taped to a white gallery wall. It sold for 120K. Then someone ate it.

Next, an Instagram account popped up, strictly devoted to sharing copycat artists’ rendition of this news-making masterpiece.

Naturally we jumped on the trend, replacing that perishable produce with something we deem much more valuable: Redbreast 15 YO Irish Whiskey in a Waterford Crystal tumbler. A lot of patience (duct taping an object to a wall is harder than it looks, guys) and a little stop motion animation later, and this masterpiece is complete.
