Bruichladdich hero photography

When Bruichladdich approached Ford Media Lab for a suite of 75+ hero images featuring their bottle and classic serves, we stripped away the props and focused on the simplicity of the set.

The client had identified a variety of uses for the images, and thus provided specific settings in which the bottles and serves would be photographed. Over four shoot days, we captured everything from white background/transparent to conceptual and holiday assets.

The first set featured a textured background and consistent surface. The client envisioned a quadrant of all expressions next to one another, with the scene virtually unchanged except the bottle and background color. The result is a group of complimentary assets that shine alone or as a group.

To serve a variety of e-commerce needs, we were tasked with photographing the bottle on white background/transparent from both the front and the back.

Also needed was a library of classic serves on white background/transparent. Cocktail images were delivered both solo and composited with bottle.

Lastly, we captured an assortment of conceptual images for multi-purpose use. The final result was a complete library of foundational images for the brand to build upon with future lifestyle and occasion shoots.
