Old Overholt cocktail gallery

FML was commissioned by our friends at Simple Serve to capture a suite of Old Overholt Rye Whiskey cocktails to be used as part of a content project. The task was to create clean and minimalistic images that allow the cocktails to shine. This photography shoot was executed over two days in the studio and focused on two themes: classic cocktails and original bartender creations.

The classic cocktails were captured with hard light and shadows on a custom FML white plaster surface. Sleek lines and delicate etched glassware created a sense of presence for the cocktails on an otherwise bright and minimalistic set.

For the original bartender creations, we were tasked with incorporating elements of pink, while still creating assets that were consistent with the classic cocktail images. We utilized the same angle and hard shadow, but instead used a pink marble surface, pink glassware and additional pink touches when available.
