Sip this: the Gold Crush
We shoot it, you sip it – and this one is so delicious, it’s coconuts!
If you’ve ever enjoyed a Gold Rush cocktail, you know how amazing honey syrup and lemon can be in a Whiskey Sour. Why not sub the the whiskey for coconut tequila? This recipe was created, styled and shot by FML for 1800 Tequila, and we think it just may be your new Summer crusher.
Gold Crush
2 oz 1800 Coconut Tequila
1 oz fresh lemon juice
.75 oz honey syrup
5 fresh basil leaves
Muddle basil with honey syrup in a mixing tin before adding tequila, lemon juice and ice. Shake and strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with a basil sprig and lemon wheel.
