Rachel Ford is the President and co-founder of Ford Media Lab.

While attending art school to study fashion design, Rachel realized that her true strength lies in not in constructing clothes, but in constructing ideas. She went on to earn a BS in Business Administration, later pursuing a career in sales, where she discovered that selling ideas and connecting people would be her calling.

With a brief intermission to pursue craft cocktail bartending as an award-winning mixologist – true story – she embarked upon a career in beverage-alcohol marketing. For nearly five years, Rachel represented one of the world’s largest producers of spirits, lending her unique experience to help an iconic gin brand bridge the gap between the supplier, consumer and the trade.

An early adopter of social media, Rachel recognized that content is most meaningful and authentic when created by someone with true appreciation for the subject. This would be the founding premise for Ford Media Lab, combined with a passion for connecting people.

Rachel has appeared on Bar Rescue and is on the board of the Institute for Better Drinking. She is a published author and public speaker, most recently at the 2019 National Association of Women Business Owners Small Business Bootcamp.
