Digital Retoucher

It can always be better, and you know just how to do it. We’re looking for a detail-oriented digital retoucher with a critical eye to process a variety of file types and formats for multi-channel use. The ideal candidate would have their own professional editing equipment and be well versed in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, & CaptureOne.

Our ideal candidate must possess:

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and/or remotely while being productivity focused

  • Strong commercial awareness

  • Ability to follow directions and interpret client needs

  • Ability to communicate effectively

Candidates should be comfortable taking files of all sizes and formats and seeking to improve, correct and perfect them for intended use. This individual should be able to edit and complete multiple projects on or before deadline, delivering to specific client needs. Candidates should be comfortable communicating over the phone, in person, and via e-mail.

Our ideal candidate should be proficient in:

  • Editing files containing various commercial, editorial and portraiture subjects

  • Analyzing and deciding how to edit a working file

  • Visualizing the desired end result and processing from receipt to completion

  • Developing best practices to guide the constant improvement of deliverables

  • Use of various editing techniques and equipment

  • Use of pertinent photo-enhancing software: Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator), CaptureOne etc.

  • Carrying out research necessary to utilize tools, including creating shortcuts

  • Working on imagery for a variety of clients, utilizing specific styles and heeding specific nuances and directives

  • Covering all projects as assigned or directed, working remotely and/or on-site as requested
