Ford Media Lab is looking for a Videographer for the creation of advertising & marketing based videos for our clients. This person will work with our other in-house editor & will also collaborate with our Creative staff and Account Executives. You will also have access to our extensive list of equipment, software, and talent.
We’re not just looking for an “ideas” person, nor for someone who’s got basic video editing skills. Style and art are subjective, so there is plenty of creative license at times in regards to our video and photography projects. Our goal is for you and the resources mentioned above to create content that is memorable for & easily recognizable by consumers that ultimately translates to sales. To achieve that, this person must be able to take a concept they create from start to finish. This will include directing & producing the material as needed.
The candidate must be proficient in:
Shooting & lighting for both photography & videography
Pre & post-production editing to final presentation
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding in the latest versions of editing platforms such as Adobe CC After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro
Coloring knowledge (Resolve preferred)
After Effects for motion graphics
Broadcast & online video formats
Compression and file requirements (i.e. Compressor & FTP clients)
A candidate with prior experience dealing with & organizing working film sets, crew positions, and the casting processes are considered a plus. 3D animation could also be a plus.

This is a full-time Mon-Fri position & pay will be determined upon experience.
